Archibald Edward⁴ Small (Philip Franklin³, John², George¹) was born in Tipton County, IN about May 1857.⁽²²⁷⁵⁾ Archibald died on May 22, 1930 in Adams Township, Hamilton County, IN, at age 73.⁽²²⁷⁶⁾ His body was interred in the Tetersburg Cemetery Section 2, Row 9, Lot 22 on May 24, 1930 in Tetersburg, Tipton County, IN.⁽²²⁷⁷⁾ The gravestone reads: "Archibald E. Small, 1857-1930"

He married Emma Belle Wimer on May 10, 1892 in Tipton County, IN.⁽²²⁷⁸⁾ Emma was born on August 28, 1863 in Tetersburg, Tipton County, IN.⁽²²⁷⁹⁾ Emma was the daughter of William Wimer and Julia Wolford. Emma died on September 6, 1941 in Ekin, Hamilton County, IN, at age 78.⁽²²⁸⁰⁾ At the time of her death she had 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.
