Archibald E.³ Small (John², George¹) was born in KY on March 19, 1829.⁽⁶⁷⁰⁾ His age is calculated from his date of death, Feburary 13, 1892, and his age at death of 62y 10m 25d.⁽⁶⁷¹⁾ Archibald died on February 13, 1892 in Tipton County, IN, at age 62.⁽⁶⁷²⁾ His body was interred in the Fairview Cemetery Section B1.5, Row 22, Lot 8 after February 13, 1892 in Tipton, Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁷³⁾ The gravestone reads: "Arch E. Small, died Feb. 13, 1892, aged 62y 10m 25d."

He married Amanda B. Henderson on September 24, 1864 in Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁷⁴⁾ The following individual is also linked to this event: Jonathan Endicott (judge). Amanda was born ca September 1844 in Tipton County, IN.⁽⁶⁷⁵⁾ The Archibald E. Small Family History⁽⁶⁷⁶⁾ gives a birth year of 1840. Amanda was the daughter of GNU Henderson f of Amanda Henderson and GNU Surname unk m of Amanda Henderson.

In both the 1830⁽⁷¹⁰⁾ and 1840⁽⁷¹¹⁾ Bath County, KY censuses a male child of the age of Archibald (II) is listed as residing in the John Small household. One unverified family group sheet⁽⁷¹²⁾ mentions two additional children, Wes and Frank but leaves out Albert Lee and Myrtle.
