He married Eleanor C. Hinaker on February 10, 1847 in Muncie, Delaware County, IN.(6) (Eleanor C. Hinaker is #591.) Eleanor was born in 1828 in Rockingham County, VA.(7) Eleanor was the daughter of George Hinaker and Mary Surname unk w of George Hinaker.
In the Census of 1850, Nathaniel was listed as a head of household in Monroe Township, Delaware County, IN.(8) In the Census of 1860, Nathaniel was listed as a head of household in Monroe Township, Delaware County, IN. In the Census of 1870, Nathaniel was listed as a head of household in Monroe Township, Delaware County, IN.(9)
