He married Mabel Wonders est 1918 in Delaware County, IN. Mabel was born on July 11, 1897. Mabel was the daughter of Henry Wonders and Lottie M. Surname unk m of Mabel Wonders. Mabel died on June 8, 1933 in Muncie, Delaware County, IN, at age 35. Her body was interred in the Beech Grove Cemetery Section H, Lot 91 on June 11, 1933 in Muncie, Delaware County, IN. When Mabel was age 22 and Fred S Dewitt was age 23 they became the parents of Fred S Dewitt Jr. on January 20, 1920 in New Castle, Henry County, IN.⁽⁴²⁷⁵⁾
