She married Ovid Ray Lewis on September 8, 1928.⁽³⁸⁶⁶⁾ Ovid was born on December 13, 1908.⁽³⁸⁶⁷⁾ Ovid was the son of Walter Smith Lewis and Maude Kern. Ovid died on February 9, 1994 in Henry County, IN, at age 85.⁽³⁸⁶⁸⁾ When Ovid was age 20 and Ethel May Ocker was age 21 they became the parents of Priscilla Dean Lewis on March 24, 1929 in Henry County, IN.⁽³⁸⁶⁹⁾ When Ovid was age unknown and Ethel May Ocker was age unknown they became the parents of Marie Lewis est 1930.
