When Margaret was age 28 and James Marion Coakley was age 31 they became the parents of Betty Jo Coakley May 3, 1945. When Margaret was age 32 and James Marion Coakley was age 35 they became the parents of James Edward Coakley June 26, 1949.

Margaret Esther Burkholder and James Marion Coakley had the following children:
